Rowan Atkinson's Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition Goes Up for Auction

British actor Rowan Atkinson, known for his roles in "Mr. Bean" and "Johnny English," is putting his 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 Heritage Edition up for auction this month.

The Defender, currently listed by Iconic Auctioneers, has only clocked over 6000km since it was new. It's expected to sell for somewhere between £65,000 and £80,000 ($AU126,000 and $AU155,000).

As Land Rover bid farewell to the original-shaped Defender, they released three final-edition ranges: Adventure, Autobiography, and Heritage.

Limited to just 400 units, the Heritage edition pays homage to early Land Rovers with its Grasmere Green body, Alaskan White roof, green steel wheels, and a heritage-style front grille.

Inside, it boasts almond-colored upholstery with heritage logos on the seats, a perforated leather steering wheel, and aluminum accents throughout the cabin. According to the auction listing, Rowan Atkinson added a factory tow bar, alarm, and air conditioning during his ownership.

Under the hood, the Defender is powered by a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

Rowan Atkinson's Defender 110 Heritage Edition is scheduled to go under the hammer at the Iconic Auctioneers Race Retro Sale in Stoneleigh, UK, on February 24, 2024.
