The Baltimore Ravens have sent a message to the rest of the NFL with their dominant performance against the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won the game 33-19 in what was considered a potential Super Bowl preview. 

Both teams had a shaky start, with the Ravens committing a safety and having a three-and-out on their first two drives, while the 49ers turned the ball over on their first possession. However, the Ravens quickly found their rhythm and scored on seven consecutive drives, leaving the 49ers behind. While the game featured two MVP frontrunners in Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson, the Raven's defense was the key to their victory, as they recorded five turnovers, including four interceptions off of Purdy.

The final interception by Purdy proved to be the most critical, as the Ravens extended their lead in the third quarter and took a commanding 30-12 advantage. Jackson had a solid performance, completing 23 of 35 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 45 yards. Purdy, on the other hand, completed 18 of his 32 passes for 255 yards, a touchdown, and four interceptions. He left the game in the fourth quarter after dealing with a stinger but was cleared to return to action. Due to the score, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan decided to have backup quarterback Sam Darnold finish the game.

Why the Ravens won

The Baltimore Ravens put on an impressive performance in their latest game by playing great complementary football. They managed to score on seven straight drives, while also forcing multiple turnovers, three of which resulted in scoring drives. The defense was able to disrupt the San Francisco offense with an effective pass rush, making it difficult for their quarterback to make plays. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson was in top form, showing off his impressive mobility and extending plays with his legs. With 252 passing yards and two touchdowns, Jackson proved to be a valuable asset to the team and may have even boosted his chances for the MVP award. All in all, the Ravens played an outstanding game and were truly deserving of the win.
